Your INVITATION to join us for the 11th “Up Memory Lane” (2003 – 2024)

A reunion lunch for all who competed in or helped with the organisation of any form of motorcycle sport in the westcountry prior to 1999, plus invited guests

Following the feedback from our last gathering in 2022 when “The Waie Inn” along with the meals and service provided received such glowing reports it has been decided to make a return visit.

Whether you’ve joined us before, or if this would be your first visit, we feel confident you’ll approve of the venue, enjoy a good meal and, once again, catch up with old friends.

This, the 11th reunion lunch over the past twenty-one years, is planned to follow on the lines of our previous gatherings, and, judging by past attendance figures and attendee feedback, remains to be an important and popular function for many of us. The biggest difference to our usual format is that, this year, we welcome not only the trials community but also all who were involved in any discipline of westcountry motorcycle sport prior to 1999 (25 years ago).

If you competed in Scrambles/Motocross, Grass Track, Trials, Hill Climbs, Enduro’s, Speedway etc. or were involved in the organisation of such then we’d love to have you with us for a day of catching up with old friends, recalling memories of past colleagues, tales of the good days, or even the days when, perhaps, things didn’t work out so well (there’ll also be a few tall stories no doubt, some of the stories seem to get taller every time we meet).

The venue has been booked, the menu agreed and plans are in place to again persuade a couple of interesting and knowledgeable guest speakers to join us for the occasion.

One of the effects of this rapidly changing world is the very noticeable rise in the cost of living. Despite a contribution from the South West Classic Trials Association we have, unfortunately, found it necessary to increase the cost of this important function to £30 per person.
